Jets Get The Result The Performance Deserved.

We have talked about the importance of training, focus, effort in order to continue to improve and to compete in this second half of the season; but in he first half we played the poorest we have all season.

However, we created 4 clean cut chances and could on a better day been 4-4 at half time despite them being the better team.

I know you are all as disappointed as we were and I know you all won’t want to do that again, it’s not a good feeling. But let’s learn from it.

What can we learn...

- we need to be switched on from the very start as these teams are also strong

- we need to focus and train on finishing and take our chances

- we need to work hard and battle if we want to win

- we can compete and win against any team in this league if we want to as the second half proved.

Preston got player of the week for the 15 mins in the second half where he gave nothing up, played midfield and defence and scored the penalty.

Let’s forget about it. Heads up and try to beat them in the cup!
