We won convincingly today so firstly well done. However, many of you were a little lacklustre today and we only saw glimpses of how great you can be.
We will need to be better against the better teams coming up. Things for us to consider and improve;
- don't kick and rush
- get the ball down and play out from the back .
By playing out from the ball out we let the opposition approach us, space will then emerge to run into making our triangles easier to pass through.
You need to get your heads up and look for positive passes or if you are under pressure put the ball out and regroup, we don't need to panic and become frantic.
Justin, seb and steve were attacking well and on the whole we looked safe at the back between danny, Blake and will, just went to sleep when we conceded. Ryan made a few important saves to keep us in the game when the score was closer.
Harrison got player of the week as a result of effort ( always up and down the pitch) and vision (always getting his head up and making a positive pass).
Let's look to focus on Friday night and get ready for next week.
