After doing so well to best Scole from the championship we rolled over, allowing heigham park to thrash us.
Despite the early conceded goal I thought we started well and were in the game up to half time, you all started the game well with a great attitude, but, after halftime it fell apart.
As coaches we were disappointed with the fact many gave up after 4 maybe 5 goals which led to our heaviest defeat of the season. Ryan made some good saves during the game to prevent further goals and billy, Justin and Harry Mizen particularly chased everything, well done. Justin just edging player of the week.
So, let’s take some positives from this, here are some things I liked to see;
Sam- kept his head up and still wanted the ball making space to receive a goal kick when 8-0 down
Kenzie, Preston, Justin,, all willing to and playing different positions
Billy really giving us an outlet down the right with great pace and strength
Will getting in the ball and trying to play some through balls
Full backs consistency across the weekend, despite the many conceded goals
So, forget the result, look forward to our final 4 games of the season and let’s go out with a bang, enjoying your football!
