Getting Better And Better.

Another fantastic game today and whilst I know you will be as disappointed as me that we conceded late on, please be proud of your performance. Just think of the progress we have made in one month, off the back of several heavy losses we have now proven we are as good (if not better) than the two teams currently top of the league.

Our parents applauded you off the pitch today recognising your effort and improvement. All I ask each week is that you apply what we are learning in training and give maximum effort, you did both today.

Great efforts from all today recognised in the consistently high ratings. Sound goalkeeping and kicking from Ryan, solid defence, midfield protecting the defence and springing counter attacks and our forwards, particularly Preston and Charlie gave them such a hard time.

I would like to give a special mention to Justin, who having had a virus for a week did a brilliant job of man marking their best player, only pipped to player of the week by the brilliant defending of Lewis. Whilst both Danny and Lewis had their best game at the back, there were a number of crucial interventions, tackles and clearances from Lewis. Well done.

Next week e go to Attleborough, who beat heigham Park, so another tough game but one we can compete to win.
