First 45 minutes Locos comfortably matched the best team in the League on paper. Siam created some chances as you would expect them to given the amount of goals they have scored this season, but they were frustrated and arguing amongst themselves which means they knew they were in a game.
Vadim Becs pounced on a goalkeeping error to put Locos in front but the hard work was soon ruined when the home side gave away a silly penalty, which Siam made no mistake with to level the game.
(Had it not been for three worldies from the Siam keeper, Locos would have been leading the game going in at the break)
Second Half let's cut a long story short. Whatever spirit and graft was evident in the first half from Locos, was definitely not present in the second half. Siam quickly went 1-3 up and then the worst possible thing happened. Players gave up. 30 minutes to play, 1-3 down, you are still in the game, at any standard of football. But some players chose to bitch and moan and literally gave up. You simply cant do that in football especially against a team like Siam. Final Score 1-7.
6 players showed heart throughout that 90 minute game and the rest either gave up completely or put in a half arsed shift. Shameful.
