SCRAPPY HOME WIN

<p>Not much to say about this match, from minute one it was very scrappy and numerous chances were wasted from the Pegasus Reserves team. HT 0-0. Second Half, early changes were made to try and lift the tempo and Brendan Logue made an immediate impact with his efforts down the left flank. A penalty was awared in the 60th minute - Thomo converted it to continue his great goal scoring streak and made it 1-0. In the 90th minute Brendan ran at the Harpole Reserves back line and found some space in the box and slotted the ball away to make it 2-0, which ended up the final score. MOM today was Brendan, only on the pitch 35 minutes but changed the game with his tireless work rate. It was also his cross that won the penatly and he scored as well, so a no brainer. Efforts must be lifted yet again from Pegasus Reserves and the many chances that they create every game will need to turn into goals as they enter the tail end of the season. Roll on Tuesday to hopefully put on a better performance.
