Great start from the boys today. Very small pitch. But started off just as they finished training. Passing, moving and giving others options. Chances galore but just that last little bit didn't fall for us. Off the line the bar 3 times in the first half. We had all the ball and all the pressure was in the opponents half. With Adam cutting in from the left and Max taking them on the right was a good balance. Korey was really good in the first half as was all the boys. We made substitutions and right on that the opponents done so too. With now a viable option up top the opponents ran up for the first time and scored on first attempt. Korey was now under pressure. We went in at HT 0-1 somehow.
The HT team talk was very positive and was very happy at what we were seeing. The opponents were pushing and making fould but nothing detered the boys. Connor Wilson hit the cross bar now. Right after we changed with Max and Ross coming back on. This changed the game and we're again in complete control. After a slipped pass from Max, Elliot finished to level. Wave after wave now until Max smashed home the winner and a big shout of "come on!". The boys held on to what ended up an edgy game although the boys controlled the majority of precedings.
Boys were fantastic and are looking very good.
