Dominant from start to finish. First half loads of short passing and inter play, with loads of chances through on goal, shots from outside the box that never quite came to anything. The opponents were a long ball team and played on that. With set pieces specifically corners they had a 5min spell with 4-5 corners all looking dangerous. They scored from 2. Gk was marked and defence didn't know what to do. 0-2 HT.
Second half started with a flurry of action on the opponents box with Max the main threat. With the front 3 working off one another now, the opponents were pinned back for most of the half and very little coming back. Although the long ball caused a couple of half chances. Ross stepped up to finish just after the break with a nice wee move and we never looked back. The next came from good pressure from front 3, Elliot on left pressing and ball broke outside box for Max to finish with outside of boot. Loads of pressure and a mixed second half with the boys going direct and long as well as some passing and moving and looked like it was finished but a corner from Ross to back post where Max ran on and volleyed for a lovely goal duely finished with a knee slide. Last kick of the game was the centre afterwards. Great display, never giving up.
