Match Report - COATBRIDGE R - 16 Sep 2023

Very good game from the boys today, on top form. It all was started from the front 3. All set to press and work together. This pressing led to chance after chance. Ross put the first away nice and early which set the tone. A sitter from Max followed some great play but put himself in the right position. Midfield and attackers having plenty of the ball, this resulted in the next goal and before long a third went in. Some lax play at the back let a very preventable goal do opposition but went in very happy at HT although could have been a lot more.

Second half we continued the good play and scored right from the whistle. The pressure from the front 3 was to much for the opponents and before long we had added more. Some really fantastic play and a couple of cracking goals today. Max with a few incredible threaded balls through and a cracking dribble past 5-6 before top bag finishA couple of cracking runs. Ross strong and lethal in front of goal. Logan a nuisance and energy. Joel was fantastic in the middle and a fantastic long range finish.Connor was fantastic at the back and looked strong and physical. Elliot needs some praise too. After a battle for the ball in the middle he was punched, but stood up for himself well. Max and coach ran to help but rwf had already stopped it. Ref asked if wanted to send off and advised up to him but wanted at least a substitution if not.
