?? CORONA FAN TV: FIRST WIN for COCFC! A cracking game of two halves for COCFC this week, after securing a 3-2 win against Ginger Pirlo FC, the first of the 22/23 season.
First half, Harris was between the sticks, Hepworth locking down the defence, with Cooney running up that left flank, Hughes in support in the centre of the pitch and McCoulough pressing from the front. The first half was a game of constant pressing and attack, the opposition had no time to think on the ball with wayward passes left right and centre. Harris rolled the ball out for McCoulough who bagged COCFC's 1st. For the 2nd, the ball landed to Harris who walked it from the end of his box before thunderpunting a bullet of a shot into the back of the goal, 2-0 Class of Corona at the break.
Second half, Hughes took his turn in goal, with Taylor and Gubby coming on the pitch also. Into the second half, Ginger Pirlo FC scored two to equalise and looked all but back into the game, before Cooney made a pass to Harris who slotted another one home, to secure the win at 3-2 to COCFC when the full time whistle went!
