CPR Hard Done By A Referee Decision In Tight Fought Match!!

<p>Today's away cup tie against Albion Tividale ended in a 3-2 defeat. The 1st half saw Claregate give away 2 penalties to Tividale that were converted to goals on both occasions. Half time changes saw subs Jay Rumbold and Danny Rai enter the action however, Tividale added a 3rd goal early in the 2nd half. Their celebrations were short lived though when Claregate pulled a goal back within 2 minutes when a Jon Wilson flick on sent Danny Rai racing clear to nutmeg the keeper just inside the 18 yard box. A more determined effort from Claregate saw some good football being played and more pressure put on the home team. Claregate's 2nd goal was well worth the wait when Ben Bickley set up Jay Rumbold for a volley from 25 yards that flew into the top corner in what was by far the pick of the goals. Claregate were pressing hard to bring the scores level when a last minute Jon Wilson free kick was headed goalwards by Nathan Garratt only for his effort to be handled inside the box, the referee however claimed not to see the infringement much to the frustration of Claregate. Other sub used was Ste Cater and man of the match went to Ben Bickley for his typical all action display.
