Manager Mark Gilder thought he would try something new and change where a few players start. A slight shuffle at the back saw Ruhi playing on the right in a more natural position to him and it proved to be a good placement as he had one of his best games for CHL. Ruhi replaced Curtis who swapped over to his weaker side on the left but he too put in a good performance.

After not scoring many over the last few games, Mark also swapped around his forwards, putting Daler and Nishan Bhaker up front together and putting Martin Doyle out of his comfort zone in midfield.

As the game started the home team were to start very dominant and were really bossing our midfield, so after 15 minutes of pressure, which CHL soaked up well, a change was needed and Mark moved Daler Bhaker into the centre of midfield and put Martin Doyle back up top, he also swapped Nishan Bhaker and Robert Jackson around. This proved to be the masterstroke as Daler quickly made the midfield his own as he diudn't give the opposition a second to think and the game became much more even with chances atr either end.

As half time approached, you could see a lack of match fitness showed on a player or 2 but they all did well to keep it tight in defense and finish the half 0-0.

A change at half time saw Mark Gilder replace Robert Jackson and Nishan Bhaker to move back up top alongside Martin Doyle. This was to be the key change as it lead to the first goal soon after half time some good play lead to a CHL corner which Nishan Bhaker took but only managed to hit the first defender but the ball ended up back to Nishan Bhaker who this time put in a sublime cross right on the bonce of Daler Bhaker who nodded home.

It was not long until CHL were to again score and increase the advantage and it was the turn of Daler Bhaker to return the favour and set up Nishan Bhaker who score an almost identical header.

Pinewood started to exert more pressure to try and get a foot back into the game but once again the CHL defence were resilient to the attacks. Although even on a couple of attempts from the home team that did eventually beat the defence were still foiled by the acrobatic Andrew Muschiali between the sticks who pulled off 2 superb saves to keep the score at 0-2.

3 minutes from time Pinewood were able to reduce the deficit as what seemed like a standard stop somehow managed to slip between the keepers legs and he was unable to prevent the ball from crossing the line.

However this was to be just a mere consolation goal as CHL held on for what seemed an eternity of injury time added on to record their 3rd win of the season.
