<p>With 1 player missing and another starting 7 minutes after the start it was always going to be a difficult day.
<p>Cannon Reserves, who were well drilled took full advantage of the extra space they had and were 1 up within the first 10 minutes of play.
<p>Not long after that they made it 2 up and what looked like a difficult task before kickoff turned into an impossible task withing the first 20 minutes of play.
<p>However CHL pulled together and started to defend well as a team from front to back and were able to prevent any more goals in the first half with a couple of attacks ourselves.
<p>The 2nd half though started much as the first with plenty of pressure on the CHL back 4 and when Aaron Williams was adjudged to have brought down the striker the ref blew straight away and pointed straight at the spot. Aaron was almost to redeem himself with a good dive to his right but an excellent penalty was put out of reach in to the far bottom corner.
<p>As the game already looked well out of sight, a change in the keeper saw Mark Gilder back between the sticks and it was an incentive for the opposition to test out his height. The first few were not close enough to the target but soon Cannon were to get a corner and take full advantage as the opposition out-jumped their marker to header powerfully past Mark as it was too close to react.
<p>After another wave of attacks the next attempt was struck against the post and rebounded kindly for the striker to power home from the 6 yard box.
<p>Then CHL had a good chance themselves as Nishan Bhakers Cross over to Martin Doyle who shot straight at the keeper.
<p>Cannon's 6th came as what looked more like a low cross trickled across the 6 yard box and caught the inside of the post and went in.
<p>The wrought was completed as the home team scored their 7th.
