A below par Chipstead slipped to a fourth defeat of the league season losing by the odd goal in five.
The promise of last week quickly disappeared as the Chips struggled to get the ball wide quickly.
Frequently the defence looked nervous when pressed and the midfield provided little protection in front and struggled to provide support to their lone striker.
Within 11 mins Chips went a goal down from a corner when players failed to pick up runners on the far post.
In the 27th min Tiago struck a fine shot to the left of the Woodmansterne goal to pull level. However, instead of raising their game Chipstead failed to clear a ball from out of their box. The error was compounded when 3 Chipstead players were unable to stop a Woodmansterne player making a cross wnich fell to an unmarked player just inside the area who had the time to pick his spot to score on the stroke of half-time.
Showing a bit more application after halftime, Seb coming on for Freddie in the centre forward position brought it back to 2-2 with a fine strike.
Celebrations were short-lived as an error from Chipsteads defence led to a poor attempt of a back pass which was latched onto by a Woodmansterne striker. Despite Nico getting a hand to it the ball trickled into the bottom left corner of the goal.
In the last few minutes Woodmansterne were unfortunate not to add to their score when an attempted clearance was miscued but saved by Nico.
Overall a poor quality game won by the side who wanted it that little bit more.
