One again the boys failed to hold on to a two goal lead and Gemini fought back to take the 3 points with 2 late goals in 2 minutes.
Having the majority of possession, Chipstead went into the break with a slender one goal lead from Tiago
after again failing to convert build up play into chances. When opportunities did arise shots missed their target or were aimed at their opponents goalkeeper.
After adding to the score with a goal from Jack a series of substitutions perhaps unsettled the balance of the side and Gemini got a goal back when a mix up between Seb and Sonny put their striker through. This seemed to spur on the opponents who began to create more chances as the Chipstead passing game collapsed.
Despite opportunities for Chipstead to add to their score on the counter, a combination of poor finishing and good saves from the Gemini keeper kept them in the game and gave them encouragement to get an equaliser. This duly arrived when Chips failed to deal with an attack down their left and a long shot went over Nicos head to make it 2-2. Sensing that 3 points could be had, Gemini continued to press for a winner which duly arrived 2 minutes later.
Yet another disappointing end to match that Chipstead looked like winning for over half the duration.
