It was a joyous day for China Sunstars football club as they defeated the NIS football team, full of ex Nigerian professional football league players, a game that was entertaining with unending chances created from start of the game till the final whistle.
Traore Fode gave a fantastic display as he scored a beautiful goal and also made a wonderful assist across the pitch. Brown Gbalakime was also on a high with his visionary passing and chances created.
All players gave a good account of themselves, unendingly threatening the opposition box. This has made their previous game seem like it never happened. Peter Ahisu missed his penalty kick but Bernard Orlando was quick enough to slot in the rebound acrobatically.
The opposition kept threatening the Cssfc defence but the defenders stood staunch, repelling all sorts of attack down the flanks and occasionally through the middle.
The second half started with the same pace and chances came along as usual, which led to a goal for the home team to equalise the game. Cssfc got back into the lead not long after through a wonderful build up play from defence through to Fode Traore who switch play perfectly for Tosin to score a wonderful lob. Then possession was dominated by Cssfc palyers and they rode the game till the last minute when Fode got his Goal from a beautiful pass by Brown Gbalakime.
