Another nail-biting match that has taken another 5 years off my life’s expectancy, this week away to Welwyn Garden City. Boys were all under instructions to play quick passing football. It took the ambers a while to get going covering another goal to go 3-1 down. When the boys were in their flow the Welwyn boys couldn’t get close to the ball. When we tried to do too much with our heads down, they pressed hard and disposed is. Welwyn were a strong, physical team who were highly motivated and pressed high and high. Ambers we’re getting a taste of their own medicine. We were 5-3 down going into the final quarter and the boys put in an epic effort to pull it back and secure the winner to end the game 6-5.
