Match Report - WARE YOUTH BLUES - 25 Sep 2021

Today the ambers played our club rivals Ware Youth Blues. The first quarter was a total domination of possession but despite the numerous chances, we only managed to score 1 goal. The second quarter was much the same which saw Ambers dominating possession but failing to finish the opportunities, ending 1-1 at half time. 3rd quarter saw us take a 2 goal lead again going into the last quarter, but playing far from our best football. 4th quarter saw all hell break loose. Some Ambers mistakes them close the gap and bring score to 3-3. Then the unthinkable happened, they took the lead 3-4 and the visiting fans and coaches were going wild. Thanks to then some slick play and clinical finishing from Blake we equalised and took the winner in the last minute to finish 5-4 ?? the game was defined by the physical battles and the desire to win. In the end we were too strong and the better team won ?? goals today from Blake (3), Freddy (1), William (1). MOTM goes to Blake for his hat trick, saving our blushes but ultimately achieving his match objectives ??
