Chemfica Edge Thrilling Encounter Against West Denton

Chemfica hosted West Denton at the Newburn Leisure Centre on 29th September 2024 with kick-off at 10:30 am. In a nail-biting contest, Chemfica emerged victorious with a final score of 3-2, managing to hold off a spirited fightback from their opponents.

Chemfica set up in a 4-5-1 formation, designed to provide a solid defensive base while allowing for quick transitions into attack. Christopher Beers took his place in goal, shielded by a back four comprising David Shotton on the right, Shaun Pearson and Jon Batty as central defenders, and Reegan Marchant on the left. The midfield consisted of Jake Newton on the right, Mpumi Nyembe and Josh Leonard in central roles, with Charlie Glasgow on the left, providing width and creativity.
