This was an opportunity to get back to winning ways and we blew it. We can only feel like this was two points dropped.
We took the lead after 6 minutes when Joe slotted a perfectly time ball through to Luke who used his lightning pace to beat the defence and latch on for an easy slot. Royal Oak replied 5 minutes later - straight from a goal kick that went the distance to their striker who couldn't believe how lucky he was. A poor goal to concede.
RO took the lead midway through the first half due to some sloppy defending from us via a corner, another cheap goal before we, ourselves levelled via the spot after Luke was fouled close to goal. Sam stepped up to make it 2-2, HT.
The game seemed to go stale until the final 10 minutes - We were awarded another penalty, this time James was fouled. Sam again stepped up and slotted beautifully for his 2nd and a Cheam Rovers lead.
No more than 3 minutes later RO levelled... A very poor lapse in concentration from our defence meant the easiest of finishes from the oppo. 2 points dropped and the run of bad form continues... Onto the next, UTC ??
