Away league match

Cheam came out the blocks on fire for this one! Taking he lead within the first 5 minutes, pressing Surbiton with great energy, the Wizard picking out 'Diesgo' Lynham who was able to curl a beauty into the top corner from the edge of the box, you just don't give a player like Diesgo that much time and space, he'll punish you.

5-10 minutes later we were able to add a second - Billy De Bruyson fizzing an absolute BEAUTY (think Becks to R9 vs. Real Zaragoza) from 35-40 yards out which found Matt at the back post to head in from close range.

Mr Lenny had the sheer audacity to have a crack from 40 yards out which cannoned off the crossbar (CR7 vs. Porto vibes), their keeper well and truly beaten. Surbiton were able to get back into the game for a brief period as we took our foot off the gas, going away from basics and looking for route one.

We were able to realise and correct it, a short while later we were back on top. Ben was relentless down the left hand side all game, linking well with Matt which ultimately lead to our third. Si swung his wand (pause) to make it three and round off a great half for the Rovers. 3-0 HT.

The second half started with Surbiton in control and pressing forward. We dealt with the lot, Lee and Baby Lee clearing anything that came their way! Slowly we clawed our way into it, a foul on Sam outside of their box meant one thing - Billy De Bruyson time... Bill again, put in an absolute peach of a cross which found Sam at the back post who volleyed home for our fourth. We all mocked Bill for his DFS 5's a few seasons ago.. (De Bruyson 9s now available @ prodirectsoccer)

Our subs were able to transition into the game with no problem at all, Joe eager to keep his #10 shirt, going at players any time he had the ball and showing a bit of fight when defending, finally! This lead to winning the ball just outside the box and striking low to beat their keeper for number five.

Luke got his reward for his tireless running, putting on the pressure only to win the ball in their box and slot for our sixth and final. 6-0 FT. UTC ??
