ROBBED OF A GOAL.

We had an under 18 ref today. We scored a penalty in open play, their gk pulled off a good save, it fell back to our penalty taker (Louie) and he scored. Their manager bullied the ref into saying theres a new rule if the penalty is saved the player who took the penalty cant touch the ball again.

I went over to Kassim, because their managers (two of them) and the whole team were speaking to the ref saying no goal and Kassim was on his own.

The ref told me to leave the pitch, which i did and their kids were telling me get off the pitch. I replied which i shouldnt have, but I said 'behave yourself's because they were starting to be a little bit rude .

Then there coach came over to us saying whoever told their kids to shut up needs to leave.

I told him i told them to behave there selves. No one told any children to shut up.

At the end they made a big deal about it, i was trying to have a conversation about what happened, and people were pushing us away. And it was left there. I spoke to their manager at the end i apologised and told him i was having a conversation,there was no agression and he agreed and we shook hands and said well played. And that was that. Hand bags.
