Casuals and Pelhams title hopes took a big blow as they lost unexpectedly at home against Albury Saints. Pelham took an early lead through Steve Drake as he scored direct from a corner after 7 minutes, 1-0 Pelham. It was a great start for the home side, however a disastrous 10 minutes saw Pelham go from 1-0 up to 3-1 down and it was really looking like a big ask for a fightback now. 3-1 to Albury Saints was how it stayed at the half. Pelham knew they needed to get the next goal and quick, and that's exactly what happened as Charlie Daniels slotted home around the 50 minute mark to make it 3-2. However another blow for Pelham as they conceded again, and 3-2 became 4-2. Pelham continued to battle, and 4-2 became 4-3 as Jamie Richards scored directly from a freekick with 15 minutes left. However time was slowly running out for the home side, and although they had plenty of chances, they just couldn't convert them, and Pelham would have to take their first loss of the season disappointingly.
