Canford United FC 1 vs 4 Merley Cobham Sports Reser

<p>The last pre-season was set up against Bmth Premier league opposition to give the neccesary tough challenge before kicking off our 2016/17 season.

<p>Canford opened the scoring on 30mins with Marshy wriggling away from his opposite number who then needed to concede a free kick just inside the opposition half.

<p>Eugene stepped up and the keeper was beaten by his well hit effort. Canford were now playing some really good one touch football followiing a difficult first period.

<p>Merley's equaliser had more than a suspition of offside about it but the second on half time was not in doubt with Canford not clearing the danger despite 3 opportunities.

<p>Merley added a 3rd and 4th in the second half as Canford tried to get back into the game.

<p>Despite the scoreline lots to be pleased with, fitness for most is where it is needed and a number of players are really stepping up and forcing themselves into contention.

<p>MoM Webby at right back with Daffy and Eugene running him close with Cam, Marshy, Matt all playing well at times.
