In his place Liam Ashley took on the role of Club Talisman and raised the spirit and performance of those around him! The King is Dead, Long live the King!!
Man of the Match Jonny Jackson wore his confidence like a suit of armour today crushing everyone in his wake! Alongside him Mackin and Naylor repelled all attackers with their solid display. And in the onion bags Kevey Roberto looked like a natural successor to Jimmy Glass! Only at right back did the natural left footer Tommy the Taxi look strangely dyspraxic! In the midfield Ashley and Blackshore were bossing the game and feeding Rent boy Roper up front! Dominance paid off when Georgie was found inches from the line but the Plymouth pinhead headed over and the home crowd responded with donkey Hee-Haws!! A couple of Larkin half chances went wide and the break came along!

In the second half Callum Murray channelled his inner Miggy Almiron and played a touch perfect game down the right wing! Roper continued to chase down loose balls but found clear cut chances were few and far between. A screamer from street punk Brad B. landed in the top corner only for Nookie Bear to rule it offside! Giant Carl Haystacks came on to win tackles and spray passes but an opening was not to be found. The last few minutes saw Larkin hit the underside of the bar but Roberts had time to suck on his pipe before clearing!
