The BSFC 5th army invoked the Song of the Mud today as Huyton Stanley's big guns were dragged down to the depths of glistening all encompassing mud. For 45 minutes the Stanley's men lay drowning in the glorious inexhaustible mud of war.
The Econimistas set up a wall of death today to repel all invaders as Ivan the Terrible Murphy and The Okpala resisted allcomers without fear or trepidation. The siege of Stanley ridge could not continue with the BSFC brigade looking like emergency ward 10 in the second half. Reinforcements were no where to be seen. Despite emergency keeper Adam Van Nistelrooy pulling off some heroic saves the wall came tumbling down as Stanley's stormtroopers terrorised the battle weary business with goal after goal.
