A fighting spirit contagion saw the Business go down in a mudbath Epic Defeat that felt more like a Victory!!!
Typical of the Business Schools season, calamity Hodder underhit a pass to Shai Mohammed within 4 minutes for the Papists disciple to run onto and score! BUSINESS 0 CARDINALS 1!! Then Hodder the Plodder spiked the Matchball on the fence provoking the Gaffers ire! But the Economists love nothing more than to have the odds stacked against them and grew into the game! The Blackburn bomber flew into tackles and Dohertys sweet left foot played balls over the top for Railway Raz to run onto! On the wing schoolboy Adam Lamb showed Roper how its done by competing for every ball and gliding past players. Pressure led to a goalmouth scramble and a chance for Roper one on one went begging!

In the second half the experience of Bibby and Hedges came on and the War continued. Sly Gary Bibby put a foot in on a defender while he was on the floor and Hedges had a running battle with potty mouth Sam! At left back, Gastric Band Naylor was having the game of his life and son Jakey showed his class and cool demeanour in nets. And even Hodder redeemed himself with some lovely slide tackles. A Dave Challinor long throw from the blue meanie Larkola found syphilis survivor Ashley's head and into the net!! BUSINESS 1 CARDINALS 1!! But the reds scored another to set up a frantic last 10! Roper came back on in his natural position up front and had a screamer tipped over the bar and then just failed to make contact at the far post in the dying embers of the game! The game was lost but BSFC morale couldn't be higher. A new Business School team of Spirit and Determination has been forged in the post Pirlo Era!!
