Today The Axis of Evil: Vladimir Ashley, Carl Jong-Un and Paul 'The Donald' Murray demonstrated fantastic chemistry as they rained down fire and fury on the terrorists in claret! Cardinal Newman not only lost their religion they also lost the plot as the Business School Dictators came close to World Domination!
Little Rocket Man Will Ellison sent wave after wave of WMDs as his defence stood impregnable to enemy attacks. The white Dion Dublin took time out from Homes under the Hammer to marshal the back line with elegance and poise. Peach hoofed the ball like an overloaded Buckaroo desperate to outdo his personal best of 5.2!! In the centre of midfield the Holy Trinity of Tyrants found each other with ease and fed Melania Bibs and Forster out wide! Up front the Schools Talisman and Captain channelled his Chi and fought off 5 defenders like a man possessed. Pressure paid off as a pass from Rich found the Bibs on the right. He drove to the corner to send a perfect cross to the back post for Schurle to poke home. BUSINESS SCHOOL 1 NEWMAN 0!! Jakey Naylor unaccustomed as he is to right back hit the ball from half way and scored a Ronaldinho 2002 in off the bar!!
HALF TIME: BUSINESS SCHOOL 2 NEWMAN 0!!!
Catchpole came on at half time at right back as Naylor switched to centre back where he belongs. Richman continued to galvanise his teammates to play like Titanium and his looping shot hit the post and bounced out. This was followed by Schurle cutting inside and unleashing a right foot shot saved valiantly by the opposition goalkeeper. The game was all Business as the Al Queda fanatics tried to break legs. A third offence from the Congenital Cardinal drew blood from Carl Doherty and saw the ball hit the net. But Ref Eno was daydreaming of Bono and blew his whistle too soon. A yellow card followed for the Beast of Blundellsands as he tried to reenact Machete Mayhem on a quiet day in Morecambe !! And finally after he dismembered Ashley at the corner flag a red card came with seconds to go! A late goal from a foul was too little too late as The Big 3 Dictators celebrated their destruction of the dissident dogs!!
