The Economists emerged out of the darkness today to enter the magical world of Narnia! But soon they realised they should have stayed in the wardrobe all along! They were lost and alone in the woods and no one was coming to help.
The slowest of all starts on a pitch where its always Winter and the Business School goal came under attack. Ryan Walsh repelled shots as Las Economists started to get a small foothold in the game. Pirlo junior was released down the right and sped like Jonny Jetson down the wing. His best cross of the day found the back post but there was no one to meet it to tap the ball home. Georgie Boy Soper roared like a kitten all afternoon and not even his biggest fan Arsene Hedges could defend his performance. Against the run of play, Ashley scored a 40 yard screamer to let the Rossineri take the lead. But then a suspect backpass from Pirlo Snr led to an equaliser and a later shot squeezed under Walshes body!
HALF TIME: BRUCHE 2 BSFC 1!!!
In the 2nd half Noote came on for Dinn and The Bibbsta switched to centre midfield. His bite and clean-cut passing turned the game in the Businesses favour as the Two Tom's started to build play down the left. The Economists were camped in the opposition half. Bibby had a curler just go wide before hitting the bar and it looked like the fightback was on. But a bizarre 3rd goal for Bruche off a Doherty back flick saw their striker stroke home as a deluded Jake Naylor called for offside! Bruche 3 Business 1!! A Noote header went just over the bar and Naylor began to party like it was 1999!!! A managerial masterstroke saw Tom Pardon switch to left wing and jink past 2 players in the box to slot past their keeper! Bruche 3 Business 2!! And Naylor had literally gone
