A snowy start to the day didn't dampen the teams spirits today.
The team showed up full of energy and eager to play. Bury started strong dominating much of the play, initially struggling to get the ball in the back of the net, but that didn't last long. Some fabulous passing down the pitch, Steph's pass to Mia and GOAL........ Then just a few minutes later Carla makes it 2-0. Bolton were playing well and had several shots, all saved by Bury's keeper. There were several changes during the first half and at half time, to give everyone plenty of game time, but this didn't seem to effect Bury, Alice got the 3rd just 5 minutes into the second half. Bolton weren't sitting back, they came back strong, they were still looking for a goal, which didn't take long, just 5 minutes later they score to make it 3-1. But Bury weren't finished yet, Rachel makes it 4-1.
A great game by both teams, everyone made a huge contribution to the game and the goals came from fantastic team work. Well done Bury AFC
