Playing at a new venue with the pitch being narrower and a surface that is alot quicker, the team that adjusted accordingly would be be the winner.
After the first 10 minutes we started building momentum and created opportunities to score. A scrappy opening 10 minutes with Rachel dominating the early parts of the game, helping Bury to be on the front foot.
This combined with Marita, Bex and Lucy causing havoc with their pace having plenty of half chances. It looked like it could of been another frustrating night as every shot was well saved by their goalkeeper.
A scramble from a corner just before half time resulting in Sophie turning and shooting finally hitting the back of the net.
Second half begin and Nat made some fantastic saves to keep the game 1 nil. A fantastic performance from Bury's goalkeeper.
10 minutes left, with the game still in balance a great through ball left Bex one and one with the goalkeeper and she rounded her and finished cooly to give Bury a 2 goal lead. Throughly deserved goal for the efforts up top.
A solid defensive performance gave us a second clean sheet in 3 matches.
