<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">Nottingham United A&rsquo;s First Goal (25 minutes) &ndash; The Boots defence didn't switch on quick enough as freekick on the left was swung in fromabout 40 yards out near the line and their Captain lost his marker to head into the roof of the net from 8 yards. <br />Nottingham United A&rsquo;s Second Goal (65 minutes) - Boots had 7 men committed up front for a throw-in on right. United broke and were 4-on-3 down the left. &nbsp;Simon pulled off a good save down to his right to deny their man from the edge of the box, but their striker was able to poach in from a couple of yards out.<br />Boots Wednesday&rsquo;s Goal (68 minutes) &ndash; Pete&rsquo;s free-kick from the left was lofted in, and Brett was pushed in the back as he went for the ball. After much moaning (from Toobs) the Ref gave a penalty. &nbsp;Pete took the spot-kick and scored to the right of the goal, sending the keeper the wrong way. <br />Boots then had a short spell of being on top, but we had no real cutting edge up front, and we weren&rsquo;t able to capitalize from some good through balls. &nbsp;

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">Other highlights: - <br />Simon Frampton made an excellent save late on to deny United a third goal.<br />Ash produced a long distance shot that swerved dramatically, but the keeper managed to get behind it. <br />Numerous good balls forward from midfield and defence that Boots didn't capitalise on due to good defending/poor attacking.<br />Si trying to get the refs phone number and b*m him!
