A Very Dry January Ends

Only three in the pub at the end of a very dry, cold and, from a results perspective, disappointing January. So the MotM had to come from Charlie, Tony or me, with Tony getting 2 votes and clinching it. Meat Loaf on the juke box and nice cold pint of Camden Hells, as well as Charlie's Camembert dip and at least we three were happy!

1st half was tight, but RH led through a long range strike that went into the roof of the net, possibly slightly through the keepers hands.

We had a few chances - Henry through in the box springs to mind, as does a great cross from Charlie with Ben just beaten to the ball by their (excellent) defender. Otherwise it was a bit of a case of 1 touch too many or some slightly wayward passes, crosses etc.

At the other end the pressure told and a couple of late goals perhaps gave RH a slightly flattering winning margin of 3-0. We deserved to lose, but maybe 2-1 would have been fairer.

An argument between our goalkeeper and central defender half way through the second half (over a wayward goal kick, I believe) did not really help anybody's mood or performance.
