Stu Back With Rare Goal

There was ominous talk at the start of the game that Fosters had brought a strong team, and we were under the cosh from the off, Fosters hitting post and bar before a couple of our players had even turned up, then finishing a good move when a nice cross from the left was met with a well placed header back across goal - Tyson had no chance, 0-1.

We moved it around a bit at half time, packing out the midfield and 1 up top. Bizarrely, it worked. Stu back for first game since 30-June, and he had a bit of a blinder on the wing, getting a rare goal when played in by Tony. Cross from Tony, not dealt with, found its way to Puntah who curled it in nicely. We had weathered a big storm and were now in an unlikely 2-1 lead.

Alas, I wish we could have held on, but towards the end a ball in the box wasn't cleared and it got banged into the top of the net. We cannot be too unhappy with 2-2 though, based on the first half.

Nice game, nice oppo. Hopefully can become a more regular fixture.
