Too exhausted to write the match report after untying the Gordian Knot of all the substitutions!
It was another night when the iPhone thermometer was clearly lying. 8 degrees apparently but felt like -2.
We had an army of subs on the side lines, but somehow got away without it updating the flow too much.
Scored a cracker first half, Tony exchange passes with Ben and hammering in the bullet cross.
Conrad squeezed a long ranger inside the post with their keeper scrambling across the goal, but ultimately unable to keep it out.
In between, there was time for Tyson to save a penalty, tipping it up on to the crossbar and having the presence of mind to knock the loose ball away, after Sam had clattered their striker in the box.
The (same?) oppo striker made up for that a bit later though, by executing a lovely flick past Michael and running through the middle to stick the ball over the top of Tyson.
A few hairy moments towards the end, but we held firm to record a satisfying win.
Off to the Duke then, for 2022s End Of Season awards (thanks Andy), a quiz (thanks James/Puntah) and the stats (thanks Rich). Tyson only 7 appearances off the all time appearance record for BoC on 730-odd appearances. For that, and the penalty save, I think a worthy MoTM.
