Strong Finish For Mouthwatering Gorgonzola

<p>BOC went out on a high, wrapping up the 2016 season with a hard fought victory against a strong BIS side. It was a tight game and could easily have gone the other way. Starting lineup:<p>Tyson<p>Stu / Hoof / Molby / Charlie<p>Punt / Phil / Neil / Sheedy<p>Dazzler / Zola<p>Punt got a knock in the second half so went in goal, allowing Tyson to play a blinder in CM for a 20 minute cameo. Latch played for the oppo but his threat was neutralised by Hoofer by way of some dogged, physical defensive play. A couple of penalty claims from Latch under the close attention of Hoofer were waved away as likely dives from the big centre forward. We shaded the first half in terms of chances and possession, with Tommy dazzler scoring the opener after Zondervan put him clean through with a defence splitting pass. Calm finish from the amiable Beardsley too. They scored towards the end of the half with a header at the back post.<p>Second half was more difficult, and BIS went ahead not long into it. They also hit the bar and post so we were a bit fortunate to still be only one gaol behind. Jordan got us a goal to level it with Tom turning provider with a good cross from the left. Neat control and finish from Gorgon. They had a throw deep in our half at the death and loaded the box, eventually that was cleared and Dazzler fed Jordan who skipped away from the last defender and finished easily in the 1 v 1.<p>A win to end a good season then. +60% win ratio not to be sniffed at.
