This was a lively encounter where the all stars shot into a quick 3-0 lead. Daventry’s answer to George Best, S Trigwell, had a blistering first half before fading from fatigue in the second. He got off the mark in the opening minutes toe poking home from close range. The all stars quickly registered a second with an effort from Dom. The highlight of the match came soon after with S Trigwell put through and executing an exquisite half volley first time into the top bin. Glorious.
All stars were in complete control with a solid back 4 featuring B King and A Jackson. S Tabb had the freedom to express himself with sone lovely touches. Fitzy dictating the play from front to back.
At the start of the second S Trigwell went in goal. He featured significantly here too. Conceding 3 goals without making a touch. All stars rung the changes to firm things up. Chances were few and far between with B King flashing wide on two occasions. The game was petering out until things nearly boiled over in midfield “your not having a fucking foul for that”.
Game finished all square. Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.
