Vs Yate Town

A very controlled display throughout. Every player had a very good performance in this game and all showed 100% work rate. The boys were asked to be more positive, play forward, compete hard in middle spaces in 50/50's and make early passes into wide channels.

It was the best start from the side that we have seen all season, 2-0 up inside 15 minutes with Cameron Gold pulling off a top world class save too. The side dropped in tempo in the second quarter, loosing that one 1-0. Blues lost some of the midfield that was quickly rectified after conceding.

Blues were reminded of their targets and game plan in the stoppage which allowed us to re group and go back out stronger, scoring another 2 goals but again conceding. 4-2.

A great solo run and unselfish pass from Greaves increased the lead by grabbing an assist for Walke, the game was killed off by a delightful finish from Manchip late on.

Fully controlled throughout, minus a 10/15 minute spell. Fully deserved result from a top performance. Can we be consistent throughout the whole game? Can we keep up that level of performance?
