Blackham And Ashurst Sarac 2 vs 3 Insulators

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;">Buoyed after a win in our first game we went in to the game with insulators in a confident mood although fully aware they would provide stiffer opposition than the previous weeks opponents.&nbsp; With a number of faces absent from the previous weeks win it meant starts for Bayley, Robbie G, 2Gun and Shaggy.&nbsp; The game started well for the B&A with a fair amount of possession.&nbsp; And it didn&rsquo;t take long for it to pay off, less than 15 minutes in a low corner whipped in by Ben Freeman was bundled home by the on coming Woggles.&nbsp; Unfortunately the lead was short lived as within 10 minutes the &ldquo;Slators&rdquo; as they like to call them selves were level. A combination of quick thinking from their right winger and our inability to mark up saw them waltz through the defence and make it 1-1.&nbsp; A similar situation, this time aided by a clumsy (and&nbsp; most comical) 50p header from Harrison led to the visitors taking a 2-1 lead.&nbsp; The B&A boys kept scrapping in the middle but looked a yard or two off the pace.&nbsp;

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;">We started the second positively and went on the offensive but still managed to go 3-1 down.&nbsp; From our own corner the ball was cleared and hoofed long and the tricky little centre forward broke clear and scored.&nbsp; Full credit to all the lads, no ones head went down and we cracked on trying to get back in to the game.&nbsp; Bert and Gozzy both had great chances to pull one back, the keeper saving well from Bert and Gozzy hitting the far post after bursting clear.&nbsp; The support and encouragement from the sidelines was good with almost of B&A&rsquo;s walking wounded there cheering the boys on, not to mention a nice little huddle of WAGS and of course the Bobbster.&nbsp;

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;">With 10 minutes to go Bayley, making his first appearance since Christmas (or whenever the Stool ball season started) had to come off after going in to labour following a nasty collision with Junior.&nbsp; He went down with a thud and after the contractions stopped he was carted off the field and straight to Pembury meturnity unit. We believe both Bayley and child are doing well.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;">Mr Ed came on and went in at centre back while Smithy pushed up in to midfield.&nbsp; The&nbsp; move paid off minutes later.&nbsp; A corner was whipped in and expertly flicked on by the ever impressive Huffers, which young Smithy poised at the far stick to lash home his first goal in B&A colours.&nbsp; Woody must have been so proud.&nbsp; Smithy is now 1 up in the Wood V Wood scoring comp.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;">We finished with a flourish but couldn&rsquo;t find the equaliser, again many positives to take from the game but a lot to work on and improve before our next game.
