Pleased that Halewood League got our game on today after a day off yesterday!

As in recent weeks we started well and quickly, playing nice football and creating chances, with the final finish just letting us down on occasions. Once the first goal went in the boys never looked back, working hard and dominating the ball.

Second half was the same, using the wide players well, lots of hard work back and forward, with the woodwork taking a battering. Property Link came back into the game thanks to some quality finishes, and forcing some excellent saves from Sandro, making it a very entertaining 2nd half at both ends.

Every outfield player worked hard and scored today, so many nice assists & finishes, and Sandro brilliant in goal with his hands and feet. A really enjoyable team performance, resulting in the Managers M.O.M awarded to the whole team.

Big shout to Oliver, always a rock at the back, hardly anything got past him today and scored a quality half volley, winning Parents Man of the Match.
