Santos Sports U8’s 8-3 Culcheth Crocs
A long early trip to Culcheth for the boys this morning in perfect conditions. The game start feisty with some heavy tackles and a couple of knocks but that didn’t stop our boys from competing well.
Without our usual keeper we expected some difficulty but Oliver & Blake first half, whether in defence or in goal, were brilliant keeping Culcheth at bay. The wide players and forwards were knocking the ball around well to create chances, forcing some brilliant saves.
Culcheth came more into the game second half with some fantastic strikes, but we had a couple ourselves with both Abel & Harry scoring from distance.
Leo was a tackling machine, used the ball really well and got a deserved goal, while Luca, used in 3 positions & in goal, was a constant threat and scored a nice finish.
One of those games today where the coaches are so proud with the application and attitude of the whole team.
Parents MoM - Harry, great dribbling and scored some good goals.
Managers MoM - Blakes- Hardly missed a tackle and passing was spot on.
