<p class="MsoNormal" style="background: white; margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt; line-height: normal;">The Tandridge U8&rsquo;s were invited to attend a half term tournament at Millwall FC&rsquo;s training ground on Wednesday 18th February. The format was four matches of eight a side on a friendly basis against Kingfisher, Phoenix, Ravens and Millwall Academy.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="background: white; margin: 0cm 0cm 12pt; line-height: normal;">For their final game the boys continued to battle well and took the lead with an own goal when a Fraser Abbott shot was deflected into the net. Phoneix then scored two goals in quick succession (Both on the break) and for the remainder of the match the boys laid siege to the Phoneix goal but a combination of the woodwork some good saves from the Phoneix keeper and poor finishing from tired legs meant that the boys could not force an equaliser

<p class="MsoNormal" style="background: white; margin: 0cm 0cm 12pt; line-height: normal;"><br />To summarise the day, the boys battled well in all their matches and also played some fantastic football during the course of the day.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="background: white; margin: 0cm 0cm 12pt; line-height: normal;">Well done to all the boys for keeping going in what turned out to be a long day and thank you to all the parents for the support that they gave to the boys during the day.
