Baltic got their season back on track with a comfortable victory over Priory Vets in Kieron Pettman's back garden.
Kicking up hill against the wind in the first half, Baltic took control early playing nice passes and looking threatening going forward. However, seven minutes in Des Lindsay pulled his hamstring and was replaced by Michael Pudney. Further clear chances came and went but after good work from Adrian Bradley, Mouse sidefooted home from 12 yards to the put the away side 1 up. Ricky Baxter and Kevin Day worked well together to provide Baltic with a string of good crosses and with better finishing, the visitors should have been five up by half time. As it was they had to settle for three after a brace from Adrian Bradley with his third and fourth of the season.
The second half began with Baltic feeling confident. Michael Pudney had an opportunity to extend the lead but fired narrowly wide. Mouse doubled his tally with his second of the game and to rub salt in the wounds, the visitors were soon out of sight scoring a fifth with Adrian completing his hat trick. The sixth and final Baltic goal came with Kieron Pettman continuing his rich vein of form in front of goal.
With the match won, Paul Courtman took over the gloves as the visitors stepped off the gas. The away side finished the game with ten men when defensive stalwart Paul West limped off with a second hamstring injury of the game. Reigate took advantage and scored a consolation goal that Baltic will be disappointed to concede. A route one clearance from the keeper bounced over both Deke Adams and makeshift centre back Phil Soloman for the striker to apply a classy finish.
Final score Baltic 6, Priory 1
