Away league match

Baltic made it back to back wins after a game of two halves at fierce rivals Farleigh. Trailing 2-0 after half an hour, Baltic scored three second half goals without reply to claim the victory.

Baltic took a bumper squad the short journey to the home of Farleigh Rovers football club and after recording two draws in the two previous encounters, were expecting a tight game. However, they got off to the worst possible start on a misty morning, the Farleigh right wing finishing off a flowing move inside the first ten minutes. The game settled down following the early setback with Baltic looking more dangerous than their opponents. Adrian Bradley was allowed acres of space on the right wing time and again and without a number of smart saves from the Farleigh keeper, one of which he knew very little about, Baltic would have been level. However, from the hosts second attack of the game, they doubled their lead. Another nice move enabled the striker to finish past Junior Woolhouse in the Baltic goal. Farleigh were having more possession and the pivotal moment of the match came when the striker looked to increase the Farleigh lead with a simple tap in only for Paul West to fling himself across the goal and produce one of the greatest goal line blocks of the season.

As the half time whistle went, Baltic could feel aggrieved at being behind but they needed to be more clinical in front of goal and were thankful for Westy's heroics.

Baltic began the second half with a higher tempo and thanks to the solid defending of the back four, the visitors were rarely tested. Instead, they created wave after wave of attacks. Adrian Bradley started the comeback after smashing an effort which the keeper couldn't hold and soon after confusion from a corner that Farleigh failed to clear left Kevin Day to slot home for his first of the season. Chances came and went for Bradley, Broughton and a difficult headed chance for Barrett before Bradley doubled his tally for the day, taking his total goals to 19 for the season.

Baltic looked to see out the game but were thankful for a fantastic diving save from Junior Woolhouse to keep out a headed effort from Farleigh central defender "psycho" Simon.

As the full time whistle went Baltic celebrated a hugely satisfying victory.
