Lusk United V Ballymun United 15A Result

Ballymun Utd traveled to Station Road this morning to play Lusk Utd hoping to get back to back wins in the league. The lads started off strong running into an early lead from an Lj Cobbe shot which was deflected by the keeper into his own net. Ballymun then doubled their lead through Felipe ona who scored his second in two games. The hosts then pulled a goal back with a very well taken volley into the bottom corner, nothing Cian in the sticks could do about it. Then Lj Cobbe produced a bit of magic seeing the goalkeeper off his line he chipped him from distance to put Ballymun 3-1 ahead going into halftime. The second half starts and Lusk come out of the blocks quickly putting pressure on the ballymun back line, the number 10 of lusk goes down in the box and the referee points to the spot, penalty was converted and the scores 3-2. Lusk then added the pressure and sent a long ball over the Ballymun back line which wasn’t dealt with the winger slipped a ball across the box for a tap in for the hosts. 3-3 the game was intense Ballymun missed a sitter from close range but couldn’t find another goal from anywhere, The number 10 of lusk then pushed the ball away from his feet at the edge of the area taking four Ballymun players out of the game and drilled a well hit shot into the bottom corner to Take all 3 points for the hosts.
