Ballymun V Baldoyle

What a crazy crazy game of football. Ballymun hosted bottom of the table Baldoyle United in hopes to gain some ground on the teams above them in the league. Ballymun started really well and should have been 3-0 up inside 15 mins. But not being clinical enough came back to bite the lads mins later going 1-0 down. Shortly after LJ hit a free kick which found its way to the corner to make it 1-1. Minutes after Cian played a ball out to max who carried his run cut inside and finished brilliantly to make it 2-1 to the mun. Shortly after the referee made a crazy decision for a penalty and Baldoyle levelled. It only took them a few mins after the break to make it 3-2. The lads were outstanding in possession and on the press tonight but every time we were caught on the break and keeper decisions didn’t help and we conceded to many sloppy goals which should have been prevented. Lj hit another free kick and Rian got his first goal for the club but it wasn’t enough and the game ended up 7-4 to Baldoyle in what is a disappointing result for our lads.
