With the arrival of yet another B Town baby, keeping Pal from the game and Baker being on an open-top bus around Wolverhampton, parading his own recent addition, we were two Centre halves, short of a full.... Half ?!

But, with plenty of depth in the squad, Alex had his debut there (sort of, but at least we have a clearer indication of his natural position ) and as ever, Chuck stepped back and into a MOTM performance with a solid, disiplined run out.

B Town didn't get off to the best start, with the lack of leadership from the back being a hugely noticeable factor, leading to some bickering and frustration, understandably.

Miguel made his voice heard from the sticks and although it took a full 45 to sink in. we did see some nice attacking play down both flanks, with the best chance coming from Harry's mazy run into the box from the touch-line, narrowly missing out on setting up Craig. Squibbs managed to spring into the air with a gymnastic flourish inside the box, which would've caught the refs' eye from another pitch! earning then dispatching a penalty and cancelling out Inpulse's early lead, taken while Chuck strolled around his own 18 yard area, (like an elderly, mental patient who'd managed to find his way out and onto a busy high street, still wearing his gown and slippers,) after taking a solid nut, to the temple.

Half time, 1-1, and some clear-the-air discussions, saw a slight re-shuffle and a new attitude to the game. B Town went back out and started to add the missing ingredients, holding up the ball, communicating better defending tighter which allowed us to play our natural game of quick passing. Callum McG in his first game this season, was running like he didn't have hideous, wax doll faces stuck to the soles of his feet and toes, using his strengh, pace and work rate to eventually find the net twice. Firstly, from a fortuitous fumble from keeper, then later tapping a Rino headed rebound before he finally sank down and aired out Chucky and his bride from the stiffling compounds of his sweaty socks.

A game that gave us a dip in form, also provided the chance to win without being close to our best, See McKenna, turn into Bob Makelele and shock the onlookers who did a double-take, at Azza's first ever sliding challenge. Well done all the boys on the day and our two, new Dad's, Baker and Pal... wet the Harry's head night, soon?
