Aylsham Bluebirds U10s 2–0 Waveney U10s What a fantastic performance from the girls today! ?? The Aylsham Bluebirds came away with a well-deserved 2–0 victory against Waveney U10s, in a game where every single player played their part.

We had to work hard for the clean sheet, and Viv in goal was absolutely outstanding. Waveney only managed two shots on target all game, but when they did get through, Viv was ready for them, making two fantastic stops that helped keep us in control. She really did win us the game today!

Defensively, Scarlett was superb. She had a tough job keeping Waveney's very good number 9 quiet, but she stuck to the task brilliantly and made life extremely difficult for her.

Edith backed Scarlett up brilliantly. On the occasions their number 9 did manage to get around Scarlett, Edith was there to protect us. Her reading of the game is becoming brilliant, and she made some really important defensive decisions today.

Amelia slotted into defence brilliantly too. Her brave, front-footed defending was excellent, and her strength to win the ball back and immediately get us attacking was superb. She showed great courage and determination throughout.

In the middle of the pitch, Matilda's energy and determination were top drawer. She seemed to be everywhere today — battling, winning the ball back and refusing to give Waveney any easy moments.

Stevie was brilliant again in midfield. She worked incredibly hard and showed everyone just how composed she is on the ball. Some of her through balls were fantastic and really helped us create opportunities.

Down the left, Holly's work rate was superb again. Her energy and pace caused Waveney problems throughout the game, creating chances and eventually getting the goal she deserved. Another excellent performance from Holly.

Jessie had a great match too. She worked tirelessly on the wings and created some good opportunities for herself. Unfortunately, the chances just didn't quite fall for her today, but her effort and attitude were fantastic.

Immy battled hard from start to finish and was a real threat to Waveney. They simply couldn't handle her pace! She worked hard defensively for the team as well as causing problems going forward, and she got herself on the scoresheet with a deserved goal.

Lou came so close to getting her goal too, showing great control to get through on goal. Her hard work pressing from the front and willingness to defend for the team were excellent today.

Overall, this was a brilliant team performance. The girls showed determination, bravery, teamwork and a real desire to work for each other. A clean sheet, two goals and plenty of positives to take away.
