Round 12 saw 2 of the season heavy weights battle it out to get the upper hand as the table was taking shape and teams having their sights set on the minor premiership. This game was seen as seen as the first hurdle for Evil who was chasing their first minor premiership since 2008. The hype around the game was big enough for Mount Gravatt Hawks to even come along and watch knowing that had to face both teams in the coming weeks.

The pressure of the need to win must have gotten to both sets of players and it affected the gameplay. Both team seemed to be off their game and there wasn't a lot of goal mouth action in the first half. The only half chance fell to Juan who played a one two with Dom to get through the backline but unfortunetly the resulting shot went straight to the keeper.

Kangaroo Point started the second half stronger and started to get a foothold on the game. The resulting pressure saw Wol pick up a yellow card. Nik was called into action pulling off yet another class save and Toshy ,getting his eye in after being back in the country for a week, digging deep to get back a do a latch ditch tackle.

Adge made some subs with plenty of tired legs out there and the contest became even once more. Dom in the thick of it again playing through Fehlhaber who beat the offside trap but couldn't hit the target, hitting the side netting. A clear cut chance that should of been finished but summed up the game.

The spoils were shared and Evil got some breathing room at the top of the table with Mount Gravatt losing to Toowong the night Before. Nik got the man of the match honours with another solid effort in goals.
