In a thrilling encounter at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne Ogun State on 4th February 2025, AustenPlus Football Club secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Eagle Star FC in a league home match. The match kicked off at 12:00 pm and saw AustenPlus rally from behind to clinch all three points in dramatic fashion.

AustenPlus lined up in a 4-1-2-3 formation, designed to provide a solid defensive base while allowing for fluid attacking transitions. Akanbi Abdullateef donned the gloves as the goalkeeper, shielded by a back four comprising David Oluwasegun on the right, Darlington Ighedosa and Daniel Michael in central defence, and Ayorinde Tope on the left. Ifetomilade Azeez operated as the lone central midfielder, tasked with linking play and providing support to the attack. The front three featured Samuel Odunayo and Anayo-Israel David as right and left attacking midfielders respectively, with Ebuka Daniel leading the line as the striker, flanked by Godwin Chisom on the right forward position and Olumide Owolabi on the left forward role.
